The house is in the conservation area known as The Yardie which is part of the busy town of Buckie with its own harbour and marina. There is so much to do and if you leave the coast and venture in land you could pick up the famous Malt Whisky Trail. A lovely part of the world and this house would be a perfect base from which to explore its many attractions.

Fort Augustus, only 8 miles away, is worth a visit to watch the boats coming through the Caledonian Canal and explore the shops and local eateries. Loch Ness is closeby too if you want to search for the monster!
