The village’s working harbour, walks along the coastal trail from the cottage doorstep, beautiful beaches, wildlife and birdlife, golf, castles and distilleries are just some of the attractions you can enjoy staying in this special part of Scotland.

The historic Old Deeside Railway Line, more commonly known as the 'Deeside Way' can be accessed nearby, where you can enjoy a leisurely walk or cycle to Ballater (approximately 11 miles) passing through the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve and Cambus O'May. Many other activities, including fishing, golf, pony trekking, gliding and swimming are all within close proximity to the cottage.
