Seann Taigh (Old House) is a gorgeous original thatched cottage in the lovely island of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides. The Western Isles offer a wonderful escape from 21st century life and this Hebridean self-catering cottage has been lovingly restored by the original crofting owners, to provide modern holiday accommodation whilst retaining all the charm of the original cottage.
This idyllic cottage in the Hebrides is an ideal holiday retreat and you can really get away from the demands of everyday life. With its magnificent views of Lochboisdale, out to the Minch and across to Skye, this South Uist cottage is in an ideal location to enjoy the peace and tranquility of island life. The Western Isles are famous for hill walking, fishing, wildlife and birdwatching - golden eagles, seals and dolphins are frequently spotted. On the west side of the island there are the lovely deserted white sandy beaches stretching for miles.
