Aug 2019. Thank you for a lovely relaxing week in this lovely cottage. We have explored the surrounding area. We have visited Oban, Inveraray Castle and town, Benmore Botanical Gardens, Loch Lomand, Dunoon (good swimming pool) and eaten in the Village Inn, Arrochar.

Jul 2019 . We have had a fabulous break in this very comfortable cottage. Thank you for the local advice, we have thoroughly enjoyed exploring. Our children (8, 6 & 4) loved the grounds of the estate and were delighted to see red squirrels amongst the other wildlife. We made the most of the location with memorable trips to Pucks Glen, Glenbranter, a boat trip on Loch Lomand, Iverarary Jail, Dunoon swimming pool, Oban and Ostel Bay to name a few. Despite having been here for 2 weeks, there is still lots more to see and do so I’m sure we’ll be back.

Jul 2019. We have had a relaxing time at Rhoda’s Cottage. This was our first time in Scotland and the location is perfect for exploring Argyll and the Trossachs National Park. We even managed a trip to Fort William and Glencoe. Highly recommend a trip to Inverary Jail. We will definitely return to Scotland.

Jun 2019. Probably the most relaxing 7 nights of sleep we’ve had in a long time - due to a combination of peace, fresh air, exercise and very comfy beds.

May 2019. Booked last minute but what a great find. Weather looked bleak but turned out really nice. Could not find friendlier people at Strachur House. Toured the area - absolutely stunning. The cottage is period perfect and I wound’t change a thing.

Apr 2019. This was our 4th visit in 2 years. The arrochar Alps are just jaw-droppingly awesome; Lochgoilhead is very pretty with some delightful waterfalls and pools in the forest below Ben Dorich. We used our kayak to explore more of Loch Fyne and Loch Goil. Glenbranter and Pucks Glen are magical. See you next year.

Apr 2019. Lovely period cottage, wonderful surroundings. Peaceful and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
