With its good travel links and mild climate Nairnshire has attracted visitors from home and abroad, families to film stars, both in the past and present. The area has a huge diversity of beautiful scenery from mountains, moorland, rolling farmland to woodlands and a stunning coastline with rocky coves and long sandy beaches.

Seals are often seen and the coastline is blessed with lovely coves, beautiful sandy beaches, picturesque fishing villages and towns. Cawdor is the ideal base for a huge array of activities - golfing, cycling, bird-watching, watersports, hill-walking, coastal walks, fishing - all are practically on the doorstep.

Should you want to venture further then the fascinating Black Isle is only 30 minutes away and the dramatic West Coast is only an hour and a half drive away.
