Let us share some reviews:

"This is an excellent place for a family stay. Plenty of room for kids to run round and stay safe outside too. Great amenities provided and a short walk into Peebles. We also took a tour of the castle which was fab. Lovely riverside walks near by, and great location too. We will most definitely be back."

"We loved staying at the cottage. Lulu was very helpful and sent all needed information well in advance. The house is set up nicely, very soft and charming. It is by a beautiful and atmospheric site with the castle and river. Everything was clean and in excellent working condition. The kitchen had all needed equipment and modern amenities. There was even logs and kindling for a fire, which we gladly used for a cozy evening lounging around comfortable sofas. The nearby town of Peebles also offers pretty walks and shops. All in all, very recommendable".

"Gorgeous house in a beautiful setting. The house is well equipped with everything needed to have a lovely stay, we cooked at the house several nights and had everything we need to cook a meal for 6. A short walk along the river takes you to Peebles, and other walking trails are accessible without the need for a car. The location is peaceful and pleasant without feeling too isolated and the house is nice and cozy, especially with the fire going! 6 adults and 2 dogs were very comfortable and had plenty of space. Glentress forest is close by which is a beautiful woodland and Edinburgh is not too far if you want to drive to the city. Highly recommended and would definitely return!"

"What comfortable accommodation in a superb scenic location. The cottage had everything we needed, a cook’s kitchen and we loved the opportunity to have a wood fire on the warm but wet evenings. The cottage is centrally placed for visiting so many places of interest- in our case architectural gems! Thank you Lulu for being a perfect host. PS we really appreciated our tour of Neidpath Castle".

"Had an excellent experience from start to finish with good communication before and during our trip to the stunning location of the cottage. We attended for a mountain bike break and it was perfect we could ride out of the front door to any of the amazing locations in Peebles and near by Innerleithen. The cottage itself was perfect and well stocked. All in all a perfect location and we will 100% be back".

"We had a magical stay at Neidpath Castle Cottage! Breathtaking views, miles of footpaths to explore, and all you could possibly need in Peebles just a short walk away! The house itself is spacious - we especially loved the large and well-stocked eat-in kitchen and the sitting room, where we enjoyed fires each night. Our host supplied a week’s worth of firewood with the rental, which was plenty for our stay. They also gave us clear instructions for accessing the key, putting away the trash and recycling, and how to get in touch during our stay. We even scheduled a wonderful tour of the castle with one of the caretakers who knew so much about its history and changes through the centuries. We could not have wishes for anything more! "
