Coalfin is spacious and welcoming holiday home catering for 11 people and all rooms are well proportioned and comfortable. The large farmhouse kitchen is very much the heart of the home and adjoins the sitting room allowing people to mix comforts with the hustle and bustle of a busy kitchen. It is equally as comfortable for large groups as it is for small, as the layout of the house suits both. The sitting room is cosy with its log fire and is lovely on a cold dark night. For the summer months the treat is the fine views till 11pm and sunrise over Arran.
The Mull of Kintyre in Argyll is a beautiful region in the west of Scotland and is full of outdoor activities including country walks, fishing, hill walking, biking, birdwatching and golf. There are many site of historic interest with castles, ruined and restored, monuments of archaeological importance and much, much more.
Skipness is a quiet village on the shore of the Kilbrannan Sound overlooking the Isle of Arran. There are several walks within the village and grounds of the nearby restored castle. Only a short drive away are ferries to the Islands of Arran, Islay and Gigha. There are several golf courses in the surrounding area of which Machrihanish Golf Course is the most famous. The nearby town of Tarbert (12 miles away) offers a number of pubs and places to eat out (the local speciality is seafood), along with supermarkets, banks, post office etc. This is a superb family and friends holiday home. The beach is 1/2 mile from the house and the quiet road is lovely for short bike rides. If you are looking for quiet rural location here is the place where you can truly relax in beautiful surroundings.
