The location is particularly safe for children since the road is private and has little if no cars on it. The West Coast makes a wonderful day trip, and well worth the effort for the beautiful beaches and stunning scenery of Loch Torridon.

In the summer you can swim in the natural pool under the waterfall or in the loch from the boat. You will find it very relaxing to sit and look out at the deer on the opposite hill or the Highland cows in the field below.
