We offer a very personal and friendly service to advertisers but please ensure you read these terms and conditions before advertising with us!

www.Scotland-Holiday-Cottage.com is an advertising medium where you can advertise your Scottish holiday accommodation for an annual fee and we, the Publisher (Which Cottage Group and www.Scotland-Holiday-Cottage.com), will advertise your entry on www.Scotland-Holiday-Cottage.com for the agreed period.

We rely on you to provide accurate information and you are sent your entry to check and approve before it is published on the site - please do so very carefully as we accept no liability for errors once you have approved your entry. You must own the copyright for the text and photographs that you send us to publish - this is a legal responsibility for you. We are not an agency and charge no commission for bookings. The enquiries will come direct to you and the contract for the booking is made between you and the enquirer - the Publisher has no liability whatsoever for any problems concerning the booking, tenancy or thereafter.

The Publisher accepts no liability for any act, neglect or default on the part of the advertisers or property tenants, nor for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience to either person or property which the Tenants, or any other person, may suffer or incur arising from, or in any way connected with, the tenancy. You, the advertiser, are responsible entirely responsible for the booking and any subsequent events.

You should be aware that there are various scams on the internet - the most common is someone enquiring (usually in strange English) for a long period of time and then offering to pay a larger sum then required

If in doubt then ignore the enquiry - all sites are subject to these annoying scams and sadly there is nothing we can do about it.

The Publisher endeavours to ensure that this site is available 24 hours a day, but are not be liable if for any reason the site is unavailable at any time or for any period. The internet server can occasionally fail but this is usually just for a few minutes and happens very rarely.

Nearly all changes to text and photographs are made free of charge. However we do reserve the right to charge for changes if they are too frequently requested.

We offer an availability calendar for each cottage and you can amend your prices, add special offers etc to that page yourself at any time.

We do not allow links to other websites (including your own) - in html code or in direct text and any entry that adds this will be removed from the site immediately and there will be no refund of fees. We also do not permit telephone numbers to be published - as it is not possible for the enquiry to be tracked as originating from us. You also must have your enquiries sent to an active email address and not one that has an auto responder or automatic forwarding on it - if you do this not only will you be unable to track your enquiries and will lose many bookings (people want a personal response!) but there is a high probability that it will be spammed. Entries that do this will also be removed from the site with no refund of fees.

The Publishers reserve the right to place other forms of advertising on the site at their discretion, and to alter the format and appearance of the site at any time.

You can of course advertise anywhere else on the internet or elsewhere - or be with an agent too.
