This was a much needed break that was a pleasure from beginning to end, the stunning location in traditional Scottish weather (4 seasons in one day) where this property is located was a total joy , walking in on the heated cosy floor to full size windows overlooking the water could not disappoint, and the hot tub in the snow was fantastic, lots still to see around Loch Tay so we shall return. Thanks also to the owners for the complimentary wine.
Yew Tree is a great stay for couple or families. We have recently returned after a weekend with our two small children and it was perfect. The house is well equipped and in a great location. Very clean and organised. There is a co-op in the local village for any essentials needed and it is the perfect quiet getaway.
We loved this property and will definitely return and recommend. Great location and an easy 10 minute stroll into the local shops and cafe. Lots of good local information in the folder left for guests inside the property , we found plenty walks with good description of difficulty and how long they were. Hot tub was a luxury that despite the unseasonably cold weather we enjoyed having. The property is perfectly positioned and offers privacy when using the hot tub and sitting outside. We loved sitting watching all the different birds feeding in the morning through the huge river facing windows and equally enjoyed watching the river flow with a glass of wine at night. A lovely property that we will certainly return to.
This is a really special place to go to. Totally private and very impressive. Loads of little details that added to the experience. Great restaurant just across the road and a great location to go explore from. Will definitely be back again.
Just had an amazing stay at yew tree lodge and really can not fault the place or Nina. It was sparkling clean and immaculate, check in was easy, there were handy tips for the local area provided, the location was beautiful and the beds/pillows were all super comfortable. The hotel immediately across the road does excellent food and a discount code is provided as well for guests. We rented kayaks and bikes from the outdoor centre which was a great way to explore the local area, the owner in there is also so helpful and knowledgable. Thank you so much for such an amazing stay Nina.
A really nice space with a fantastic view of the river. The hot tub was perfectly located for privacy and stargazing. We were visited by lots of woodland friends during our stay and got the best out of the local walks. The local restaurants were lovely with good choices for varied dietary needs. The underfloor heating and comfy beds was also a joy!
