Some comments we have received:
"Brewlands Cottage is a lovely oasis of tranquillity. Located in a beautiful glen, the cottage is over 400 years old but doesn’t feel it. We spent a bit of a damp, chilly week weatherwise here in October but the cottage was beautifully warm. The heated towel rails were a real treat. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped and has everything you’re likely to need for a week (or longer) of cooking for six. There was plenty of space for six of us and two dogs. The gardens are securely enclosed so the dogs could roam about quite happily. And there’s a lovely set of outdoor furniture to take advantage of the sunny days. The (mostly grown up) children had a brilliant time in the hot tub and it’s a lovely spot to watch the sun going down at the end of a day. We had a wonderful week and Simon was a superb host."
" ....snowmen, several of them- and sledging just above the cottage. Such fun, though Oscar wouldn’t stop barking at the snowmen. Brewlands cottage looked so pretty, and we felt snug with the stove lit and the shutters closed. Thank you VERY much. We will be back next year for sure!" Evie and Peter, Northhants.
"It was Jamie’s first holiday so it was great to have such a safe garden and all the toys. It was fantastic arriving to find the fire lit and the cheese scones. Thank you for everything, especially for your attention to all the small details that make a holiday special. This is a top cottage!" Paul and Josie Harrington.
"We spent the whole afternoon in the wild flower meadow then fished till dusk. A perfect day on a perfect honeymoon," Stephen and Julie. "We have just reread what we wrote and it sounds soppy but actually it is true!!!!!!!"
"Beautiful and spacious accommodation with stunning surroundings. Stayed here with friends and an infant, Simon was very hospitable and added little touches that was vey much appreciated, such as extra blankets for the baby and shortbreads on arrival. Would happily stay again."
