August 23
Excellent holiday home for all ages, in lovely green surroundings with walks through the trees to a great playground in the huge walled garden. Plenty of space, very well equipped and comfortable. You could enjoy your stay here without leaving the house and grounds. You don’t need to be an expert to enjoy the variety of birds coming to the feeders - or hooting at night - and we all enjoyed the red squirrel also at the feeder. It is a great centre for exploring local towns and beaches and Edinburgh is only an hour and a half away by train from Arbroath over both the Tay and Forth Bridges.

We booked the Coach House and adjoining Stables cottage for a big family get together last summer, our first since covid restrictions. We quickly realised we had chosen very well. Our accommodation was outstanding, equipped and furnished to a very high standard., offering all we could possibly need. The surrounding woodland and nearby gardens offered something for everyone. Kinblethmont staff were always helful and on hand to answer any questions. The local area provided good eateries and lovely coastal walks. It was such an enjoyable experience that we immediately booked to come back and have just returned from our second successful visit. We would thoroughly recommend time out in Kinblethmont. The perfect place to stay in such a beautiful spot!

We are fortunate to have spent many holidays on the Kinblethmont Estate, The Coach House being reserved for the whole family (three generations). The Coach House is beautifully appointed and ideal as a base for family holidays, tempting as it is, to remain in the seclusion of the beautiful estate with its abundance of wildlife, walks and walled garden with its children’s play area but used as a base for visits around Angus, it really comes into its own. We cannot recommend the Coach House highly enough.

We had a wonderful week at Kinblethmont Coach House celebrating my 70th birthday. The house is very well appointed and finished to a very high standard. There is loads of room with everything that is required for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The walled garden is a great place for kids to have fun and adults to relax. Something I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We were eight adults celebrating our son’s 30th birthday . The house is wonderful..the modernisation of the house is first class: accommodation is warm and inviting. We have been in many houses in Scotland and Europe but none has been as well equipped. The estate is stunning and would be super for families of any age mix. One highlight was seeing a red squirrel and lots of birds within feet of the house. We would definitely return.

This is a fabulous property. It is spacious, comfortable, light and cosy despite being really roomy. All furniture and furnishings are excellent quality and cleanliness and customer service excellent.

December 2022
We were lucky enough to spend 4 nights in the Coach House in early December for a pre-Christmas family gathering. The house was fantastic, really clean and well furnished with so many thoughtful additions. The Christmas tree was up and decorated and we had copious amounts of logs for the wood burner making it very cosy. The beds were really comfortable as were the couches. We have several walks through the grounds and agreed that the house was fantastic and suitable for any time of year. Thanks Kinblethmont team. It was great!

Great 3 nights stay at The Coach House. Everything you could want for a pleasant stay. Even the weather stayed fair fair for us. We’ll be back.

Wonderful weekend at Kinblethmont for family get together. 12 adults but it’s a very spacious house. We found all the accommodation to be of a very high standard but still homely and comfortable. Bonus points for kitchen area which was extremely well equipped, anything you might possibly need is there. Jessica and her team have thought of everything. Sorry we only had a few days to enjoy it. Hope we can return before too long.

Fantastic place to stay! Was perfect for what we wanted. Great bonus having a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. Really well equipped, large family space and all bedrooms were a great size! Had the charm of being in the middle of nowhere but actually it was only 10 minutes in to town if you had forgotten anything!! Would definitely book again!!

Visited with group of friends, staying in The Stables and The CoachHouse. The ACC was excellent both the large bedrooms and the shared areas. We had plenty of room enjoying spending time around the large donning table and gathering on the comfy seats around the fire. The kitchens were very well equipped and had plenty of everything we needed. We were lucky enough to spend a lovely day in The Walled Garden having a wee picnic and enjoying the games, especially the table tennis table. The estate is in a lovely setting but close enough to Arbroath to enjoy beeches and do shopping etc

All of the rooms were very well presented and both families loved the house, BBQ and all of the outside seating a real bonus. The short walks around Kinblethmont are lovely and the walled garden is a true gem in the heart of the estate. Kids really enjoyed the table tennis and racket sports areas. Will definitely be back!

We booked this accommodation for a family holiday of 8 adults and one toddler. The place was totally amazing and the quality of all furniture and fittings was excellent. It was a bonus to have the gas bbq to use and also the fire pit. We enjoyed watching the various birds and red squirrel feeding from the strategically placed feeder. There were various paths to the magical walled garden which had a badminton and volleyball net, table tennis, a kids play area and a chest with croquet and other bits. All the family would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

This was a large family get together celebrating a wedding anniversary, due to COVID it had been cancelled and re-booked three times, but Jessica was so understanding and accommodating each time we had to rebook. We stayed in the beautiful coach house and some of our party stayed in the adjoining stables. Perfect for meeting in the middle. The accommodation was stunning, such high quality and the beds hugely comfortable! Stunning walks locally and not far from the beach for the children to play. The walled garden with children’s play area was amazing and we took full advantage of the outdoor space with gas BBQ and fire pit. It was truly amazing and we would go back in a minute.

This is a must for bigger party of people. We just had long weekend here and we all love it. 8 adults and 2 kids 10 and 5. Plenty space in house with different setting areas fab and big dining table for all and more if needed. Comfortable bed and pillows! So much so I need to get the same pillows. Everything you need is in that house and more! We will as a family be back . Outdoor space fantastic to and surroundings,walks.walled garden with loads for the kids and adults to do. Love it love it

We stayed in the coach house from 20th - 23rd October, We stayed 4 adults and 5 kids aged 8 - 12 years old, We had a ball, The house is out of this world and immaculately clean. There is everything you could imagine and more. There was enough space for all and various seating and eating areas, We enjoyed the walled garden and play park and used the sports items for badminton, rounders and table tennis. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. It is only 4 miles from Arbroath where we enjoyed a meal out at Coast ( very nice). We are definately going to return, Thankyou

’We are four couples who for the past 40 years have rented accommodation throughout Scotland. Premises rented have varied in standard ,however we have now found the " Jewel in the Crown",Kinblethmont Coach House. The facilities are second to none. Space and comfort are a real joy. We have booked for next year,our 3rd,which tells it all,.
