On the banks of the silvery River Tay, in the heart of Scotland, is the Fair City of Perth, the perfect centre for touring Scotland. Having at one time been Scotland's capital city, you will discover that Perth enjoys an air of elegant prosperity and retains the genuine atmosphere of a true county town rich in history and tradition. Perth has just become the first Scottish city to receive Cittaslow status from the Slow Foods Organization to reflect the wonderful produce in Perthshire and the many highly rated restaurants in Perth.

A pleasant climb or scenic drive through the wooded slopes of Kinnoull Hill is an ideal introduction to the Perth area. You can easily explore the centre of Perth on foot. Perth has regular craft and antique shows and the local Farmer's Market set up their stalls throughout the summer months. Aside from great shopping, history lovers will find Perth offers unsurpassed delights. There are numerous places of historic interest to visit in Perth including Scone Palace, Elcho Castle, Huntingtower Castle, Balhousie Castle (home of the Black Watch Museum) and Branklyn Gardens.

Perth has easy access to St. Andrews, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and a hundred points of interest in between. Accommodation:
Stay in executive style luxury in a mews house within a walled garden with views of Kinnoull Hill. The self-catering property occupies a splendid position in Perth's west end with all local amenities and leisure attractions in Perth within walking distance. There is a parking space available within the grounds. The Mews House has its own garden and use of the large walled garden area. Although in Perth city, the Mews House is in a very tranquil setting.

Internally the property is tastefully decorated and offers bright spacious accommodation throughout. The lounge, with its large windows, overlooks the garden and has a TV, DVD and CD player. The main bedroom has wonderful views over to Kinnoull Hill and can have two single beds or one king size bed. The second bedroom has a single bed, and a cot or small bed can be added for a child. There is a lovely fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and a large bathroom with a shower.

Access to Perth is via the Broxden Roundabout and down the Glasgow Road in Perth. Detailed maps are available on request.

Change over is usually Saturdays - check in 1600, check out 1000. There is however the possibility of flexibility.

Short breaks can be arranged at any time in advance except for peak times and golf weeks. The owners are happy to accept any start and end dates where it can be arranged.
