From Forfar take the B9128, signposted to Carnoustie, in a south-easterly direction. Follow the B9128 through the village of Kingsmuir and 2 miles from Forfar you will reach a junction where the main road continues on to Carnoustie round a sharp right hand bend and an unclassified road goes off to the left signed Letham and Arbroath. Take the road for Letham and Arbroath. Ignoring further signs to Letham, follow this road for 11/2 miles as far as it goes to a T junction in the village of Bowriefauld.
