It has independent and private access and comfortably accommodates up to six people. On the ground floor is a livingroom with open fire, with an additional alcove bed for disabled guests who are unable to use the stairs to access the first floor bedrooms. The kitchen/diner is extremely well equipped and includes a dishwasher, fridge and microwave in addition to conventional oven. Evidence of the cottage's history as a Poor House can be seen in the antique fireplace/ovens in each bedroom (now blocked up and for decoration only!).
