Loch Tay's natural beauty and abundant wildlife make it a very popular tourist attraction and there is easy access to a number of Munros in the area, including of course Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, Ben More and Ben Lui. The area is also a favourite destination for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hill walking, fishing and mountain biking. The lodges are located on Cycle Route No. 7 where you can take in the fantastic views at the Falls of Dochart in Killin or the Hermit's Cave at the Falls of Acharn. The unique Scottish Crannog Centre and Cluny Gardens are also well worth a visit.

Beinn Ghlas Lodge is ideally located to visit the popular Scottish towns of Pitlochry, Callander, Crieff, Perth, Auchterarder and Dunkeld. Other great attractions to enjoy during your stay may include a visit to Blair Castle, The House of Bruar, Queen's View at Loch Tummel, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Loch of the Lowes Osprey Centre, Scone Palace, Rob Roy's Grave at Balquidder, The Dam and Salmon Ladder at Pitlochry or one of the many beautiful forest walks in the area. In fact, there is so much to offer, you will be hard pressed to fit it all in!

Accommodation:
Beinn Ghlas Lodge is one of eight lodges located within the small family run business of Bracken Lodges. Beinn Ghlas commands breathtaking views over Loch Tay to Ben Lawers and Ben More from the south facing decking.

Beinn Ghlas Lodge is superbly equipped and has everything you need to enable you to self cater with ease. The open plan living room and kitchen is light and modern with gas hob, electric oven, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. There is a large comfortable two seater sofa, separate leather lounge chair and coffee table - also a flat screen television with Freesat channels and DVD player. Local information books and a selection of DVDs can also be found within the lodge. The beautiful oak double bed is made up for your arrival with freshly laundered bed linen and duvet. There are oak bedside tables with reading lamps and there is a hairdryer provided within the dressing table. The bathroom has been finished to a very high standard with Jacuzzi bath, separate shower, wash-hand basin and shaver socket with light. Bath, hand and kitchen towels are also provided along with complimentary Scottish Fine Soap toiletries.

Directions:-
From Aberfeldy follow the A827 to Kenmore. From Kenmore take the south Loch Tay road towards Acharn. Bracken Lodges are on the lochside a further 4 miles along from Acharn. From Killin take the south Loch Tay road towards Ardeonaig. Bracken Lodges are on the lochside a further 4 miles along from Ardeonaig.

What's included:
Wonderful under-floor heating - perfect for all year round holidays - is included in the rental price along with all gas and electricity.
Freshly laundered duvet, fitted and flat sheets, pillowcases. Bath, hand and kitchen towels, bath mat included.
Fresh flowers, homemade shortbread and Scottish Fine Soap toiletries are all complimentary. Basic household items such as washing up liquid, dish cloths, toilet tissue, kitchen roll, salt and pepper are also provided.
No smoking.
The small village of Kenmore has a local post office with village store where everyday items can be purchased. The Courtyard in Kenmore has also an excellent range of food items. There are small Co-op supermarkets in the towns of Aberfeldy, Killin and Pitlochry.

Beinn Ghlas Lodge is rented out throughout the year. Friday arrival from 4.00pm - Friday departure by 10.00am
Winter short breaks available between November and March at 75% of weekly rate.
