Located in Edinburgh East this beautiful home offers secluded, comfortable, spacious and well equipped self catering accommodation just three miles from Edinburgh's city centre.

Although the house is just off the Milton Road which is the main bus route into town, it is in a very quiet peaceful location on a cul-de-sac with only residential traffic. There is always plenty of on-street parking and there is also off-street parking to the front of the house. Buses are regular and frequent and it is just a fifteen minute bus ride into the city centre. The bus route into town provides opportunities to get off at convenient stops for Holyrood Park with Arthurs Seat, the Palace of Holyrood, the historic Royal Mile and the Scottish Parliament and Edinburgh Castle.

For guests without a car who would like to explore beyond Edinburgh an excellent bus service also provides access to East Lothians beautiful countryside, villages, coastline, sandy beaches and golf courses. Nearby Brunstane Station offers a rail link to Edinburghs Waverly Station and a direct line over the unique Forth Rail Bridge. It is a 30 minute train journey to the cobbled streets of Queensferry with views of the rail and road bridges and boat trips to Inchcolm Island and Abbey.

All of East Lothians golf courses are only a short drive away and there are also a number of excellent golf courses in Edinburgh too. Duddingston golf course is off the Milton Road and is only a few minutes by bus or car from the house. Edinburghs Portobello beach and swimming pool are nearby and it is less than a mile to Musselburgh with its historic racecourse and golf course. For guests convenience there is a general store and hotel with restaurant, bar and health spa at the street end and it is a few minutes drive to a large supermarket and retail park.

The house is situated just 2 minutes from the A1 and the city by-pass which links Edinburgh with the rest of the country.
