Directions to the Coach House:-
Here are the directions to the Coach House:-
Once in Scotland, the main route north is the A/M74. South of Glasgow take
the M73 which cuts north across to the A/M80 from Glasgow to Stirling and
Perth. That joins the M9/A9 which you remain on until you see the sign for
Forteviot (about 5 miles before you reach Perth). Be careful here as you
need to slow down in the fast lane to turn right across the dual carriageway
- waiting in the central reservation if necessary.
Continue down the steep
hill until you reach a junction and here turn right, crossing the stone
bridge towards Forteviot. The Coach house about half a mile along this road
on the right hand side with a huge Monkey Puzzle Tree in the garden, just
before you reach Forteviot village.
From Edinburgh take the M90 to Perth (via the Forth Road Bridge) and take
exit 9 marked Bridge of Earn. Continue the centre of Bridge of Earn and
here take a left turn onto the B935 signposted Forgandenny, Forteviot and
Dunning. Continue on this road for approximately 5 miles passing through
Forteviot until you reach a junction signposted Dunning or Perth. Take the
Perth direction crossing over the level crossing and The Coach House is on
the left hand side, attached to Forteviot House with the big Monkey Puzzle
Tree in the garden.
