Aviemore is perfectly situated for touring the region and ideal for visiting several local sights and attractions including Lake Insh, Boat of Garten, Rothiemurchus Estate and the Cairngorm Mountains. The busy city of Inverness, north of Aviemore, can be found at the end of a twenty mile drive or you can treat yourself and travel by train - also available from Aviemore station is the Strathspey Steam locomotive which travels the 10 mile scenic route to Broomhill.
The Aviemore area is renowned for sporting activities. There are many golf courses nearby, the most prestigious of which is the new Spey Valley course where guests at Mulroy House can enjoy a free 4 ball each day of their stay. There is also free access to the Dalfaber Golf and Country Club for 2 adults and 2 children where there is a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room and many more activities for you to enjoy.
The winter offers excellent skiing and there are many other pastimes throughout the year for all age groups. Canoeing, kayaking and other water sports can be found at Loch Morlich where everything you need for a day on the water can be hired. There are many places in the area for fishing, one of the best being the famous River Spey. You can visit the polar bear and wildlife park on Alvie Estate where you can enjoy having a picnic or visiting the cafe for lunch. Landmark Forest Adventure Park is another wonderful attraction which is great for the kids to visit: they have wet rides, adventure walks which are also educational and there is always the possibility of seeing a red squirrel.

Accommodation:
The holiday property is on two levels and is bright and spacious throughout. The top floor has 3 bedrooms which are all carpeted and have fitted wardrobes and hairdryers. The king sized double room has an en-suite shower room with a large shower and amtico flooring. There is also a family bathroom, again with a large shower and amtico flooring. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom also with carpet, fitted wardrobe and hairdryer.
The fully fitted kitchen has a mango dining table and chairs which will seat 8 people comfortably, a dishwasher, microwave, double oven, halogen hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and much more. There is a utility room which leads from the kitchen and is fitted with a washing machine. The sitting room has two four seater sofas, a 47 inch LCD TV, DVD player and Sky TV - ideal for relaxation. There is also a games room where you can enjoy the 7' American pool table and the infra red sauna for 6 people complete with sound system.
To the front of the property there is parking for 2 cars and the garden is laid to lawn. To the rear, the garden area is fenced with a secure gate where children can play safely. A large decked area is complete with barbeque, hot tub and seating. The hot tub is the ideal place to relax after a day out enjoying the many local activities.

The property is located in High Burnside in Aviemore. The area is well signposted but a map will be supplied along with the keys.
