Bruader Iain Ardnamurchan Peninsula, Argyll |
 |
Bruadar Iain is on the outskirts of the village of Strontian which lies at the head of Loch Sunart on the beautiful Ardnamurchan peninsula. This luxurious house is situated at the entrance to the Ariundle Nature Reserve, with spectacular views of the surrounding hills and oakwood forest.
The Ardnamurchan Peninsula offers a myriad of activities such as walking, climbing, sailing, fishing, horse riding, canoeing, cycling, bird watching or just sitting back in the garden and enjoying the views. There are many unspoilt beaches in the area and several highland distilleries to enjoy. If you want to explore the nearby islands there are regular boat trips to islands such as Mull, Muck, Eigg and Rum.
Ardnamurchan is the furthest point west on the British mainland. The area is rich in wildlife and if you are lucky you can spot otters, seals, red deer, reptiles and a host of different birds. The area is rich in history and the natural environment is spectacular. The seas around Ardnamurchan are a magnificent small boat cruising area and the coastline is a joy to explore. This is an idyllic place for a holiday on the west coast of Scotland!
