Drumlanrig Cottage is part of a pretty converted steading set in the beautiful Dumfries-shire countryside. This is a very unspoilt and quiet part of Scotland but has a wealth of attractions to visit, as well as wonderful walking and birdwatching.

This holiday cottage group has an indoor swimming pool, table tennis table, multi-gym, pool table, sauna and children's play area - there are also free bicycles and fishing rods to use. This is great location for a holiday with children as there are so many great facilities on hand.

Dumfries is a cyclists paradise. There are many quiet cycling tracks around Drumlanrig Castle as well as quiet roads and lanes in the area, so you can explore the Dumfries countryside without using your car.

  

Dumfries & Galloway is a very pretty part of Scotland with lots to see in the area - country houses include Drumlanrig Castle (home of the Duke of Buccleuch) which has some wonderful furniture, porcelain and paintings. Round the corner from the self-catering cottage is an excellent riding stables and there is also riding in the nearby Forest of Ae.

The holiday property is all on the ground floor and comprises of a double bedroom, a twin room, bathroom and shower, sittingroom with dining area, well appointed kitchen and hall.

Directions:
Drumlanrig Cottage is in the Nithsdale Valley north of Dumfries, a few miles off the A76.
