Quotes from the Visitor’s Book :

"I must say, we have travelled to Scotland for 20 years and have experienced many wonderful things, but the stay in The Gida was really unique. We have enjoyed it so much. Our entry in the book is a bit short, but on our last night we were busy with Croquet :-)."

"The Gida is a Gem."

"The cottage is beautiful and the views stunning. "

"It really is an enchanting cottage."

"It more than exceeded our expectations."

"The scenery was breathtaking, wherever we went."

" We enjoyed the undisturbed time away from our busy lives and treasured the peace and quiet of the lovely house and garden. It is a place full of warmth, love and soul."

"The children watched more birds than television!"

"We saw the stoat, hare, heron, woodpecker, toad and red deer."

The personal touches were lovely : peonies in the sitting room, fresh crisp bedding, all the games and the music collection and the rhubarb from the garden was delicious."

"I lit the candles in the Glamis Castle Chapel before the Sunday service."

"Tuck in to the local food. The Butcher in Newtyle is good for haggis, smokies and hot smoked salmon from Arbroath are delcious and good value."

"We played pooh-sticks on the bridge over the burn in the garden."

"The best area for golfing in Scotland."

"We just do not want to leave!"
