Puffin Cottage Johnshaven Very dog friendly No charge for furry friends!
What could be better after an invigorating walk by the sea (with or without a doggy friend!), than to sample the delicious pub grub at The Anchor, have a pint at the Ship, then come back for a coffee on one of the comfortable sofas beside the log fire. Enjoy being cosy in the cottage whilst enjoying the amazing sea view almost on your doorstep. (Any 2 night minimum.)
Puffin Cottage has been receiving tired and weary travellers and holidaymakers for over 10 years now and sending them home refreshed and with a spring in their step. I think we must be on our 8th visitor’s book by now! All available to browse in the cottage, in addition to many books, brochures and maps to peruse!

19th Aug Had a lovely week in this very comfortable cottage. Saw Dolphins on Tuesday at around 2pm. Amazing! Hope to come back soon
5th Aug Lovely cottage, lovely weather and an amazing week. So much to do to keep our boys happy. Rock pooling was a big hit, the walk to Gourdon for fish and chips was great. Food in the Anchor was great. The local wildlife is amazing, we even saw a hump back whale off St Cyrus beach. Dunnotar Castle is also a must, we parked in Stonehaven and walked along the cliffs. So much to do in a lovely spot.
