Albert Apartment, is situated in a perfect location within the historic
King's Park in central Stirling. With spectacular views of Stirling Castle
the apartment is just minutes away from the city centre and thus visitors
have the opportunity to enjoy all the attractions that Stirling has to
offer. The former historic gardens of Stirling Castle, 'The King's Knot',
are situated on Royal Gardens directly opposite the property and Stirling
Castle itself is approximately 10 minutes on foot. The castle offers all
members of the family a memorable day out with interactive displays and
access to an important slice of Scottish history.
Immediately next door to the apartment is the Stirling Smith Art Gallery
where visitors can enjoy the cafe and gardens in addition to the museum.
Stirling Golf Club is just across the street and welcomes visitors and there
are many other famous courses within easy reach. Gleneagles with its
championship courses and famous hotel and spa is just 20 minutes drive and
Muirfield, St Andrews, Carnoustie and Loch Lomond can all be reached in
approximately an hour.
The city centre and all its facilities (shops, restaurants, railway station,
bus station etc) are just 5 minutes walk away. Other tourist attractions
which are also immediately accessible on foot include Stirling Old Town
Jail. Within a one mile radius of the apartment there is a wide choice of
eating establishments including Scottish and international restaurants and
hotels. Stirling is renowned as the gateway to the highlands and affords
easy access to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. There are many
opportunities for sports and outdoor pursuits both for the energetic and
active and for those who prefer a more leisurely pace.
