Accommodation:
Windy-Yett Farm dates from the 1600s. Now the historic farmhouse, original stone outbuildings, and surrounding landscape and lochan provide a beautiful self-catering holiday location in the heart of Scotland.

Inside the farmhouse is crammed with period features - exposed stone walls, fireplaces, wooden beams, cornicing, original staircase etc. The main house is on 2 levels. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and 1 triple bedroom. The public rooms and bunk room are downstairs. An extra double sofa bed is found downstairs in the 2nd sitting room / music room. The main sitting room forms the heart of the house with exposed stone walls, wooden ceiling beams, a wood burning stove and patio doors onto the garden. A cosy second sitting room/play room/games room gives additional public space or can function as an extra bedroom. The large luxury dining kitchen has been recently renovated with beautiful custom slate flooring and granite worktops. It houses an electric oven/hob, integrated microwave, integrated dishwasher and washer/dryer. A separate dining room with oak table and leather chairs provides an alternative more formal dining setting.

Outside, Windy-Yett is set in 9 acres of rolling landscape with its own private lochan. Wild geese (including rare Bean geese), herons, ducks, toads, badgers, deer, owls, bats, and swallows all frequent Windy Yett farm regularly. The Games Barn houses table tennis, barn football and darts for use by residents. The patio area has garden furniture and barbeque facilities and views of the water. Additional quiet outdoor space can be found in the orchard. Croquet and other outdoor games are available.
