The Courtyard is a bright, spacious self-catering property capable of comfortably sleeping and dining eight people. Located in one of Stirling's most prestigious areas, Kings Park, The Courtyard is at the very heart of Stirling City centre; a two minute walk to all the attractions within the historic City, the magnificent Castle and rich Scottish heritage centre, the Old City Jail, the Tollbooth, a modern shopping centre, small quaint arcades and several supermarkets. The historical Bannockburn Heritage Centre is only a 20 minute walk from the city centre and there is also a good selection of both modern and traditional pubs and restaurants in the area. Nick Nairns famous cookery school is also a mere 20 minute drive away in nearby Port of Menteith.

Stirling is a great location in central Scotland for a holiday and many other areas of historic interest are on the doorstep. It's just a five minute walk to the charming village and local pubs of Cambusbarron and five minutes in the opposite direction for Cambuskenneth and its famous Abbey. Wallaces monument is a 2 minute drive, on the way you can stop and visit the famous Old Stirling Bridge.

The surrounding Stirlingshire countryside is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts; walking, cycling and paragliding are all on offer on the nearby Ochil Hills. Slightly further away are The Trossachs, Callander, Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow and Edinburgh. The Courtyard provides the ideal central touring base for your Scottish holiday.

For the golfing enthusiast there is golf available at every turn. Kings Park has its own course and there are at least another five courses close to Stirling. Slightly further afield are the world-famous Gleneagles and St Andrews Old Course.

Transport within the area offers excellent links to all areas; Edinburgh and Glasgow with their international airports are within one hours drive. Stirling also has a good bus/rail network and motorways heading both north, further through Scotland, and south towards England and Wales. This is an ideal place to stay in Scotland for exploring the rich cultural heritage or partaking of country pursuits of all kinds.
