Nestled beneath the dramatic peak of Ben Lawers, a few miles away from Kenmore, the Bothy enjoys spectacular views over Loch Tay and provides the perfect location for a romantic escape. Outside the Bothy is a luxurious private hot tub for our guests to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Guests also have access to some 40 acres of ancient woodland to enjoy at Cragganoul, including private orchard, secluded oak forest walks and loch frontage where we have fishing rights.

Ben Lawers is Perthshire's highest mountain which is home to a wonderful selection of alpine flowers. At its base is a visitor centre and an informative nature trail. Ben Lawers overlooks Loch Tay which is Perthshire's largest loch stretching to a length of some 14 miles/23 km. Ancient settlers once lived on Loch Tay on their very own man-made islands or crannogs. The Scottish Crannog Centre, a wonderfully reconstructed crannog built on the loch, paints a fascinating picture of early Iron Age life and is well worth a visit. At the eastern edge of Loch Tay lies the pretty whitewashed conservation village of Kenmore with unrivalled views of the loch.

The location is rich in history, wildlife, activities and attractions, with watersports, walking, fishing, golf courses, castles and distilleries on the doorstep!
