Cellardyke is one of a number of small fishing villages in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife. This cottage, totally renovated to the highest standards and tastefully decorated throughout, is an ideal base from which to explore this wonderful part of Scotland. This is a fantastic location for a Scottish holiday, with award winning sandy beaches, world class golf courses, full range of water sports, beautiful coastal walks and many other holiday activities close by. There are numerous pubs and eating places in the area, ranging from the famous "Anstruther chippie" to award winning seafood restaurants. The fishing village of Pittenweem (one mile from Anstruther) is the venue for the well acclaimed Arts Festival every August. The historic town of St Andrews is only 15 minutes away.

The area is rich in historical interest with several National Trust for Scotland properties in the vicinity including Falkland Palace, Culross, Kellie Castle and the Hill of Tarvit.
