Accommodation:
Salt Herrings is a luxury conversion of an old cooperage set in a spectacular waterfront location. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, one twin and one double. The double bedroom benefits from a luxury en suite bathroom with a splendid slipper bath. There is a separate bathroom with luxury shower adjacent to the twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have great sea views. There is a separate utility room on this level with washing machine and freezer.

An impressive wooden staircase leads up to the stunning open plan kitchen/dining and living area. The solid oak kitchen is fully equipped and has an integrated fridge and built in oven and ceramic hob. The living room area has a stunning feature wood burning stove which along with the solid French oak flooring (which is throughout the whole cottage), just adds to the character and charm of this unique holiday property. This spectacular room which runs the whole length of the cottage has some of the best sea views in the area. There are 7 large south facing windows from which to enjoy the ever changing and forever memorable sea views across the Firth of Forth to Berwick Law, Bass Rock, Isle of May, and along the coast towards Crail. Truly wonderful!

Directions:
Follow the road signs to Fife and Anstruther then Cellardyke. The cottage is located 50 yards past the old harbour in Cellardyke on the sea front.

Heating and electricity are included in the rental price plus an initial supply of logs for the stove.
All bed linen is provided.

Cost and availability:
Salt Herrings holiday cottage is rented out year round.

Change over day is Friday with arrival time from 2pm, vacate by 10am.
Short breaks available out of season.
