May Cottage is a gorgeous, stone-built cottage, recently refurbished to provide every luxury you could hope for in a self-catering cottage. It is a spacious house, and is ideally suited for 2 families on holiday together. The cottage is only 2 miles from the beach so it is a perfect location for a holiday with children. With a table tennis table, pool table and mountain bikes they will have plenty to occupy them whilst you relax.

Set around a central garden, it is part of a group of 4 cottages: however you have complete privacy and your own secluded garden to the rear. The grounds are lovely and there are magnificent views from the cottage, over pretty countryside to the sea. There many historical sights and attractions in the area, including St Andrews which is only 8 miles away. There are also some excellent restaurants near by, as well as Scotland's award-winning fish and chip shop!

Accommodation: May Cottage has a spacious sitting room with a log fire and doors out to the private garden. There is also a separate dining room (a great bonus if you are a large party) and a very well appointed kitchen, where everything you might need is provided. There is also a downstairs WC and a double garage.

Upstairs, is a master bedroom with an ensuite shower room, a large double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. The bathroom is spacious and modern. It is all very comfortably furnished, as befits a STB graded 4 star holiday cottage, and you will get a very warm welcome from the owners (who live nearby). There has been great attention to detail so you will want for nothing in this superb self catering cottage.

Location:
Near St Andrews and Anstruther, in the East Neuk of Fife. Only 1 hour from Edinburgh.

What's included:
Central heating and hot water, electricity, an initial supply of logs for the open fire and bed linen are included in the rental rate. Cots and high chairs are available at no extra charge, but please book them in advance. A limited number of mountain bikes are also available on request, at no charge.

What's not included:
Towels are not included, but are available at a small charge.

Cost and availability.
The cottage is rented out year round.
Rental periods are generally Saturday-Saturday: arrival 4pm and departure at 10am.
We can also provide short break holidays at most times of the year; the price for up to 3 nights is 60% of the normal charge for that week, and extra nights are 10% of the normal weekly charge.
