Island View is a superb holiday house in the pretty East Neuk village of Anstruther. As its name implies, it has fantastic sea views of the Isle of May and Bass Rock, and over the Firth of Forth. The house itself is a B listed historical building and has high ceilings, which gives a feeling of great space. The house has been carefully restored and the original features have been retained, such as shutters on the windows. The kitchen is large and contemporary and, like the sitting room, enjoys spectacular views over the sea. The two large bathrooms are beautifully fitted with luxury baths and showers (with plenty of hot water available!). The kitchen is extremely well-equipped with everything you could need in a holiday house.

Anstruther is a very pretty East Neuk of Fife fishing village, with a working harbour. It is perfect for a family holiday with plenty to see and do in the area - as well as unspoilt sandy beaches and rocky coves. There are also some excellent restaurants nearby, and in Anstruther itself there is the highly-acclaimed Cellar Restaurant and Scotland's award-winning fish and chip shop - both well worth a visit if you are on holiday in this lovely Fife self-catering accommodation.
