Millstone House is in a gorgeous part of the west coast of Scotland near Oban. Set in its own private grounds on a hillside, this lovely holiday home has superb views down the glen overlooking the sea Loch Feochan and the surrounding hills. This is a wonderful part of the country for a self-catering holiday - there is so much to see and do and the beaches are wonderful. Bird and wild-life are plentiful near the cottage and you can walk from the door-step into the glorious, unspoilt Argyll countryside.
From Oban you can take a ferry for a day trip to Mull - small children will be keen to visit Tobermory (Balamory in the TV programme)! The Oban Rare Breeds Park and Oban Seal Sanctuary are also very popular with children of all ages. There are fabulous beaches, magnificent countryside and hills to walk in, lots of horseriding and Oban has a fine 18 hole golf course. Argyll also has great castles, gardens and distilleries - the essence of Scotland is all close-by. This is a very comfortable self-catering house near Oban, with a gas burning stove and spacious accommodation.
Accommodation:
The accommodation is mainly on a raised level to take advantage of the glorious views. There are 4 spacious bedrooms, all very well furnished and a large sitting-room with a gas burning stove - the panoramic window offers amazing views down the glen.
The large farmhouse-style kitchen has a dining-table to seat 10 - and has all the equipment you will need on your self-catering holiday.
It is very warm all the year-round so is great for a winter break too.

Linen is provided. Electricity is metered and charged at cost. Towels can be provided for £1/wk per person.

The cottage is rented out year round.
Rental periods are generally a week, Saturday to Saturday, but short breaks are welcome.
